Her discursive practice focuses our attention on seemingly inconsequential aspects of the exhibition site and to the hidden systems that surround gallery visitors. For Wall Pieces (2004), a section of plaster wall in the Guggenheim was polished to a high sheen\u2014a work only visible from specific angles and nearly unphotographable. Her workCore Drillings (2011), replaced the trashcans in the administrative offices above the gallery with holes, slowly filling an otherwise empty exhibition space with workday detritus.
