The project combines map-making workshops, public art installations, convenings, and publishing designed to help survivors become public advocates for better protection alternatives to policing in public space. This involves a deep engagement with the material traces of the past, such as monuments, archives, and personal narratives, as well as an attentiveness to the more intangible aspects of haunting, such as the emotions and affective resonances that can arise when confronting complex legacies.
