For students concentrating in Art Education who are interested in pursuing New York State Teaching Certification in Visual Arts, you must speak to the Art Education Program Director.
A portfolio review is required for admission to the BFA program. The portfolio should demonstrate aptitude; finished, professional work is not a criterion. The committee is looking for raw ability, talent and motivation.
