DIAP students Searra Sassawan, Krisia Ayala, Lisa Karrer, and Zoe Berger have invited two Artists from CEC Artslink, Ahmed Eldeeb from Egypt and Liwaaa Yazji from Syria, to DIAP on Monday October 26th, from 2 – 5pm.

Ahmen and Liwaa will be presenting their educational backgrounds and individual art practices – followed by a group discussion. The purpose of this event is to explore geopolitical effects on pedagogy and the tension between contemporary art practice and “the academy”
