Congratulations to Ralph Lemon (DIAP visiting artist Spring 2016) for receiving a National Medal of the Arts for his contribution to dance and the visual arts by President Barack Obama.
Priyanka Dasgupta (2017 DIAP)
will be speaking on art and social change, as part of a panel of artists and writers in conversation with Mick Minard, on Saturday, October 8, at the Annual Indo American Arts Council Literary Festival, New York. The event is from 12.15 – 1.15pm, at NYU’s Kimmel Center, located on 60 Washington Square Park

Lionel Cruet (2014 DIAP Alum):
Lionel Cruet presented his project “Intangible Sites”, an immersive environment in a mobile container unit that displays reflections through images and sounds collected with the participation of the immigrant community of New Mexico during the month of September and October of 2016 at PASEO Taos, NM.
